Diana and Joel's Feb. 10 wedding day dawned cold, but clear.

The girls started the day at Xenon's to get their hair done in a cluster of up-do's. Once finishing at the salon, the ladies rushed across town to get dressed at McConnell Air Force Base, where they slipped into dresses made by Diana's mother. The royal blue bridesmaids dresses and Diana's gleaming white dress were all in the Renisance style, with flowing sleeves and floor-length skirts. Joel and his groomsmen were dressed to match the ladies.

The ceremony was simple, but elegant - consisting of the vows, which was followed by communion.

After the ceremony, the reception was in full swing at the Emerald Ballroom. In keeping with the theme of Renisance, Diana and Joel were introduced by the town crier. They gingerly fed each other cake made by one of Diana's sisters, before enthusiastically smearing icing on each other.

The dance started with a tender first dance to a Bryan Adams hit, "I'll Be Right Here Waiting For You." Of course, the bouquet and garter toss were included, as was the dollar dance. In the spirit of being on the military base, the fellas serenaded the ladies with "You've Lost that Lovin' Feeling," a la "Top Gun."

The couple departed amidst a shower of bubbles, ready to begin their life as one.

Congratulations you two!!!

Last weekend we traveled to Kansas City to document Jennifer and Andrew's wedding day. We started early Saturday morning at the salon, Deluxe Hair and Etc. All the girls got pampered with hair, nails and make-up done. At 12:00 when they left the salon the girls took some time to go hang out at the hotel and arrived back at the church around 2:30. The ceremony started at 6:00 with a candlelight service at Red Bridge United Methodist Church. You could tell that Andrew's vision was very tunneled when he saw his bride, Jennifer, for the first time. His eyes never left her as soon as he saw her. You could really tell that they are meant for each other as Jessica stated in her maid of honor speech. The reception followed held at the Knights of Columbus. Their cake was two tier and had pearl lined jewels that lined the layers. The grooms cake was a sweet pastry/roll that was Andrew's favorite.

You guys were really nice to work with and we want to thank you for having us booked for your photographers for such a long time.

Heidi and Lucas are a very love filled couple that were a joy to work with. They have a definite love for animals and incorporated two of their dogs in the wedding day. Their Black Lab, Chloe, was the ring-bearer and Pomeranian, Sophie, the flower-girl. The ceremony was held at the Scottish Rite. Lucas awaited for her as she came down the grand staircase with her dad. The sparkly cream gown from Reni's Bridal had a beautiful detailed train and a nice added small petite bow at the waist. Heidi shared with me how she was impressed that Reni herself took the time to hand pick out the wedding gown she ended up wearing on her wedding day. With the reception in the same location they walked down the aisle and rolled right into the cutting of the cake. The rest of the day was spent visiting and greeting their guests. The round, linen covered tables had white covered chairs seated around with brown ribbon bows tied to the back of each chair. The room was really well decorated giving off a warm elegant atmosphere.

Thank you again Heidi and Lucas allowing us to be part of your special day.
