We met Megan and the girls at Fringe Salon where Megan's longtime friend Becky did Megan's hair and make-up while the other girls were getting their hair done. Due to the rain, which Megan believes brings good luck on your wedding day, the guys scratched their plans to hang out at All Star Sports. So, we met up with them at the church, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, once the girls were ready. The church looked beautiful and was decorated with ribbons, beads and flowers by Susan's Flowers.
Megan & Nick's color was persimmon and the color was found in all the details from the dresses, flowers, and pew bows to the ribbon tied bubbles. The nuptial mass was celebrated by Fr. Spexarth and two other priest who were all close to the families. The couple exited the church to a sea of bubbles.
The reception was held at the Wichita County Club and before being announced in by DJ Ron Brown with Another Dimension we were able to take some shots of the couple and wedding party out on the golf course.
It was great having the use of the golf carts for the entire wedding party to make taking the outside shots go a lot faster. Megan & Nick used one of their engagement pictures to have glass coasters with their photo as an inset made for the party favors. They were placed on all the tables and of course we loved them.
After the cake was cut, toasts were made, first dances, bouquet & garter tosses were all out of the way, the party was on. It was a great day and a pleasure getting to document it for Megan & Nick. After their long courtship, it's obvious that their day was all they had hoped it would be. It was also great seeing one of our future bride and grooms, Lisa & Justin - see you guys again in a couple of weeks. Congratulations again Megan & Nick and thanks for letting us share your day with you!
