We started the day meeting Lisa and the girls at Edgez Salon where the girls were getting their hair done. Lisa then headed to Beau Monde Spa to have her make-up done and finally to the church, Hillside Christian Church, to finish getting ready. Lisa had gotten her Cathedral length gown from Accent Bridal and she said it was one of the reasons she was glad they chose to have a big church wedding. Lisa was so grateful to her mom and sister Tara for all the help in planning their wedding, she said she couldn't have done it without them. Lisa decided to play up her fun side by wearing red heels that matched the bridesmaids dresses.

Justin told Lisa he wanted to wear a tux instead of his Marine dress uniform since he only gets to wear a tux once, for his wedding. Justin is a recruiter for the Marines and most of his friends and groomsmen traveled a long way to come celebrate this day with them. Justin's best man, Randy Batman, was one of Jeff and Tyff's former grooms. Even some of Lisa friends traveled from a great distance to share in their day. Lisa's two sisters were the maid and matron of honor.
The church was decorated beautifully with candles lining the aisle and three large candelabras at the alter. They were all decorated with red and white roses and calla lilies by Susan's Flowers. There were candles at the front of the sanctuary in honor of their grandparents who have passed. The wedding was officiated by Lisa's aunt, Reverend Debbie Elwick, which meant a lot to Lisa and her family. Since the couple had chosen not to see each other before the ceremony, we took all the formal pictures with the couple afterward while the guests headed to the reception at Terradyne Country Club.

Once we were done with the formal pictures, we all headed to the reception where we took a few minutes for some shots with the couple and wedding party on the golf course before they were announced in. The theme at the reception was black and white polka dots with touches of red. Even the wedding cake, made by Cameo Cakes, had polka dots.
Lisa and Justin headed straight to the cake table and then on to the toasts since their guests had already eaten. Once, they finally had a chance to get a bite to eat, they made their rounds to their guests to personally thank them for coming. Then, it was time for the dance to begin and the night just flew by. It was great getting to visit with Megan and Nick, our bride and groom from a few weeks ago, and Megan's parents.
Lisa & Justin, It was such an honor to document your day despite the 100+ degree heat - you guys were great. We're sure you'll enjoy your time in the Bahamas relaxing on the beach.
